Today you will be working with poetry and comparison. You can either analyze the poem OR create an original poem by taking a line from the original to spark your thinking. For option two, be creative in your comparison and explanation. Good Luck!

1. Read the poem below. Write a poem of your own that defines "Thanks"
2. Read the poem below and use it as a guideline to write a poem of your own. Choose any one word you like and create a poem similar to "The Morning Walk" giving the meaning of that word.
